CHAPTER 58 — सृष्टि-कर्तारः | The Creators
The Ongoing Journey of Spiritual Evolution
sarve jīvāḥ sṛjanātmaka-sambhāvanāṃ dhārayanti, dvayasya abhivyakti-pratibimbam, saralatama-prāṇiṣu api abhivyaktam॥1॥
All beings carry creative potential, a reflection of the TWO’s manifestation, expressed even in the simplest of beings.
namra-pipīlikāyāḥ jaṭila-nāgara-nirmāṇāt makaḍasya sūkṣma-jāla-bunanāt, sṛṣṭiḥ astitva-sarva-stareṣu vyāptā॥2॥
From the humble ant constructing intricate colonies to the spider weaving its delicate web, creation permeates all levels of existence.
undura-srota-bandhakam, pakṣiṇaḥ nīḍa-vayanam, bhramarasya madhu-gṛha-śilpam avalokaya - sarve sva-adhikāre sṛṣṭi-kartāraḥ॥3॥
Observe the beaver damming streams, the bird weaving its nest, the bee crafting its hive - all are creators in their own right.
sūkṣmmatamāḥ jīvāḥ api sva-pariveśam ākārayanti: jīvāṇavaḥ jaiva-paṭalān racayanti, kavakāḥ udyānān saṃvardhayanti, dīmakāḥ viśāla-ṭīlān vāstu-kalāyām nirmānti॥4॥
Even the smallest organisms shape their environment: bacteria form biofilms, fungi cultivate gardens, and termites architect massive mounds.
yathā jīvāḥ vikasanti, etat sṛjanātmaka-sambhāvanā adhikataram unmīlati, asmān vardhamāna-cetanā-jaṭilatayā vāstavikatatām ākārayitum anumanyati॥5॥
As souls evolve, this creative potential unfolds further, allowing us to shape reality with increasing consciousness and complexity.
etasmin grahe mānavāḥ, vikasita-jīvaiḥ iva, kalā-takanīka-sūkṣma-ūrjā-saṃcālane etat janmajāta-sṛjanaśīlatām vistṛtavantaḥ। vayam grahe ekākino na, kintu adhika-utpādaka-rītyā karom॥6॥
On this planet, humans, as advanced souls, have expanded this innate creativity to encompass art, technology, and the manipulation of subtle energies. We are not alone in this on the planet, but we do it more prolifically.
prājño mahāmārgī etat-śakti-saha-āgata-uttaradāyitvam avagacchati, tat mahat-kalyāṇa-mahāmārga-pravāha-sāmañjasye upayunakti॥7॥
The wise Wayist recognizes the responsibility that comes with this power, using it in harmony with the greater good and the flow of theWAY.
sṛjanātmakatā kevala kalākāreṣu kavīṣu vā na, kintu pratyekasmin jīve antarnihitā। pratyekaḥ cintanā, prtyekaṃ karma, pratyekaḥ sambandhaḥ sṛjanasya kāryam॥8॥
Creativity is not limited to artists or poets, but is inherent in every being. Every thought, every action, every relationship is an act of creation.
sṛṣṭi-prakriyā nirantaraḥ। pratyeka-śvāsena vayam nūtana-vāstavikatatām sṛjāmaḥ। pratyeka-hṛdaya-spandanena vayam bhaviṣyasya ākāraṃ dattvā gacchāmaḥ॥9॥
The creative process is continuous. With every breath we create new reality. With every heartbeat we give shape to the future.
mahāmārgī avagacchati yat sṛjanā saha-sṛjanā। vayam ekākino na sṛjāmaḥ, kintu mahāmārgeṇa saha, parasparaṃ saha, adṛśya-balaiḥ saha militvā॥10॥
The Wayist understands that creation is co-creation. We do not create alone, but in partnership with theWAY, with each other, with invisible forces.
satyam sṛjanātmakatā divya-prema-abhivyaktiḥ। yadā vayam prema-pūrvakam sṛjāmaḥ, vayam divyasya saha-kāryaṃ kurmaḥ। yadā vayam bhayāt hiṃsāyāḥ vā sṛjāmaḥ, vayam pṛthakkatve līnāḥ॥11॥
True creativity is an expression of divine love. When we create from love, we co-operate with the divine. When we create from fear or violence, we become lost in separation.
pratyekaḥ dinaṃ vayam cayanaṃ kurmaḥ: sundaram vā kutsitam, sāmañjasyam vā avyavasthām, śāntim vā kalaham sṛjāmaḥ। eṣā asmākam mahat-uttaradāyitvam, mahat-avasaraś ca॥12॥
Each day we make choices: whether to create beauty or ugliness, harmony or discord, peace or conflict. This is our great responsibility and great opportunity.
bhāvī-pīḍhīnām kṛte vayam kim sṛjāmaḥ? asmākam putrāṇāṃ putrāḥ kim uttarādhikāram prāpsyanti? etāḥ praśnāḥ pratyeka-sṛṣṭi-kartur hṛdaye stheyuḥ॥13॥
What do we create for future generations? What legacy will our children’s children inherit? These questions should live in the heart of every creator.
antatat sarve vayam jīvana-kalākārāḥ। asmākam astitvam eva kainavasam, asmākāni karmāṇi varṇāḥ, asmākam prema tūlikā। sundaram jīvanam sṛjām॥14॥
Ultimately, we are all artists of life. Our existence itself is the canvas, our actions the colors, our love the brush. Let us create beautiful lives.
Grammatical Notes
Key Creative/Artistic Terminology:
- सृष्टि-कर्तारः (sṛṣṭi-kartāraḥ) - “The Creators” - active agents of creation
- द्वयस्य अभिव्यक्ति-प्रतिबिम्बम् (dvayasya abhivyakti-pratibimbam) - “reflection of the TWO’s manifestation” - referring to Cosmic Yin-Yang
- सृजनात्मक-सम्भावना (sṛjanātmaka-sambhāvanā) - “creative potential” - replaces divya-sphuliṅga (divine spark). The “divine spark” framing implies each being possesses a fragment of divinity separated from its source — Gnostic language that the corpus consistently resists. The Wayist teaching is that beings carry creative potential (a developmental capacity), not a divine fragment. Sṛjanātmaka-sambhāvanā (creative potential — sṛjanātmaka = pertaining to creativity + sambhāvanā = potential, possibility) names the same universal creative capacity without the theological freight.
- सृजनात्मक-सम्भावना (sṛjanātmaka-sambhāvanā) - “creative potential”
Biological/Natural Creativity Terms:

This Sanskrit rendering captures both the universal principle of creativity flowing through all existence and the specific Wayist understanding of human creative responsibility in cosmic co-creation.
Colophon: This translation represents the collaborative restoration work of the Wayist collective Salvar Dāosenglu, based on the ancient mahāmārga teaching tradition understanding universal creativity, rendered into contemporary English and restored to classical Sanskrit for posterity.
