Understanding Through Clear Definition

MahaMarga कुछ पदों का उपयोग अन्य परंपराओं से भिन्न अर्थों में करता है। यह शब्दकोश द्विभाषी है — अंग्रेज़ी परिभाषा प्रामाणिक है; हिंदी उसका सहयोगी है, प्रतिस्थापन नहीं।

MahaMarga uses some terms with meanings that differ from other traditions. This glossary is bilingual — the English definition is authoritative; the Hindi is its companion, not a replacement.

ब्रह्मांडीय संरचना | Cosmological Framework

परम सत्य | The Absolute (THAT)

Sanskrit: tat-nirapekaśam / तत्-निरपेक्षम्

वह अवर्णनीय स्रोत जो सभी समझ और वर्णन से परे है। MahaMarga में हम केवल यह स्वीकार करते हैं कि वह (THAT) समस्त सृष्टि का कारण है — फिर मौन रहते हैं, क्योंकि शब्द सीमाहीन को सीमित कर देते हैं।

The ineffable source beyond all description or comprehension. In MahaMarga, we simply acknowledge THAT as the causal factor behind all creation, then remain silent — words only limit the illimitable.

यह नहीं है | NOT: ब्रह्मन् (Advaitic Brahman), ईश्वर (theistic creator-god), या theWAY / महामार्ग। परम सत्य इन सबसे परे और ऊपर है।

अथाह एक | The Unfathomable One

Sanskrit: agādhyaḥ ekaḥ / अगाध्यः एकः

ब्रह्मांडीय पदानुक्रम का दूसरा स्तर — परम सत्य से उत्पन्न, यिन-यांग को सृजनात्मक क्रीड़ा की ओर निर्देशित करने वाला। केवल नकारात्मक भाषा में वर्णनीय। यह व्यक्तिगत ईश्वर नहीं है और इसे प्रार्थना में संबोधित नहीं किया जाता।

The second level of the cosmological hierarchy — proceeding from the Absolute, directing the Two toward creative play. Described only apophatically. Not a personal god; not addressed in prayer.

यिन-यांग | YinYang (The Cosmic Two)

Sanskrit: brahmāṇḍīya-yāṅ-yiṅ (transliterated — हिंदी में भी यिन-यांग ही लिखें; पुरुष-प्रकृति नहीं)

स्रोत से प्रवाहित होने वाली द्विध्रुवी ऊर्जा — समस्त अस्तित्व का आधार। शुद्ध यिन या शुद्ध यांग कभी नहीं हो सकता; प्रत्येक में विपरीत का अंश सदा रहता है। दोनों के बीच की आंतरिक गति सृष्टि का मूल “नाद” (OM / Sabda) उत्पन्न करती है।

The bipolar energy flowing from the Source, forming the basis of all existence. There can never be purely Yin or purely Yang — each always contains some of the other. Their inner movement creates the fundamental “sound” underlying all creation.

यह नहीं है | NOT: पुरुष-प्रकृति (Sāṃkhya dualism) — वह भिन्न ढांचा है और इसका प्रतिस्थापन वर्जित है।

महामार्ग | theWAY

Sanskrit: mahāmārgaḥ / महामार्गः

वह विशाल ऊर्जा-संरचना जो स्रोत से उभरी और हमारे अस्तित्व को धारण करने वाले नियम स्थापित करती है। महामार्ग ब्रह्मांड को व्यवस्था देता है, भौतिक और आत्मिक नियम निर्धारित करता है। इस साइट का नाम — MahaMarga | महामार्ग — इसी से आता है।

The massive energy structure that emerged from the Source, establishing the laws governing our existence. MahaMarga brings order, setting the metaphysical and physical laws that make our universe possible. This site takes its name from this term.

व्यावहारिक समझ | Practical: महामार्ग के साथ संरेखण में जीना ही प्राकृतिक लय के साथ प्रवाहित होना है — संघर्ष नहीं।

यह नहीं है | NOT: परम सत्य (Absolute), पिता/माता ईश्वर (Amitābha/Pāṇḍarajñānī), या तितली-मार्ग (Butterfly Path)।

तीन ऊर्जा-क्षेत्र | Three Energy Domains

अस्तित्व की संपूर्ण संरचना तीन भिन्न किंतु परस्पर-संबद्ध क्षेत्रों से बनी है:

भौतिक-ऊर्जा-क्षेत्र | Material Energy Domain: वह भौतिक जगत जहाँ हमारे शरीर निवास करते हैं। तीन शरीर-मन यहाँ कार्य करते हैं।

जीव-ऊर्जा-क्षेत्र | Soul Energy Domain: आत्माओं (जीव) का क्षेत्र — व्यक्तिगत चेतना और व्यक्तित्व का स्थान। तीन आत्मा-मन यहाँ कार्य करते हैं।

आत्मन-ऊर्जा-क्षेत्र | Spirit Energy Domain: उच्चतर बोध और दिव्य संबंध का क्षेत्र — चार आत्मन-मन यहाँ कार्य करते हैं। सुखावती यहाँ स्थित है।

The complete structure of reality — three distinct but interconnected domains. Everything is fundamentally energy, but these three types are distinct.

विकास-यात्रा | The Journey

तितली-मार्ग | Butterfly Path (titlī-mārgaḥ)

Sanskrit: titlī-mārgaḥ / तितली-मार्गः

वह विकास-यात्रा जिसके माध्यम से आत्मा (जीव) के परिश्रम से आत्मन प्रकट होता है और सुखावती में स्नातक होता है। जैसे कैटरपिलर के परिश्रम से तितली उभरती है — कैटरपिलर तितली नहीं बनता, तितली उसके विघटन से प्रकट होती है।

The developmental journey through which the spirit (ātman) emerges through the soul’s (jīva’s) work and graduates into Sukhāvatī. Like a caterpillar — the butterfly does not “become” the caterpillar; it emerges through the caterpillar’s dissolution.

यह नहीं है | NOT: महामार्ग (theWAY — जो ब्रह्मांडीय व्यवस्था-सिद्धांत है); मोक्ष (static liberation); निर्वाण (Buddhist cessation)।

स्नातकभाव | Graduation (snātakabhāvaḥ)

Sanskrit: snātakabhāvaḥ / स्नातकभावः

तितली-मार्ग का लक्ष्य — आत्मन का सुखावती में प्रवेश। यह एक सक्रिय नई शुरुआत है, स्थिर मुक्ति नहीं। स्नातक आत्मिक प्राणी सुखावती में बढ़ता, सेवा करता, और विकसित होता रहता है। तितली-जन्म उभरने के क्षण को नाम देता है।

The goal of the Butterfly Path — the ātman’s entry into Sukhāvatī. An active new beginning, not a static release. The graduated spirit-being continues to grow, serve, and develop. Titlī-janma names the moment of emergence.

यह नहीं है | NOT: मोक्ष, निर्वाण, मुक्ति — इन सभी में एक अंत है; स्नातकभाव में एक नई शुरुआत है।

मिश्र-सत्त्व | Hybrid Being (miśra-sattvaḥ)

Sanskrit: miśra-sattvaḥ / मिश्र-सत्त्वः

मनुष्य क्या है — आत्मा (जीव), नवोदित आत्मन, और शरीर (देह) का पवित्र संयोग। तीनों क्षेत्रों को जोड़ने वाला अद्वितीय प्राणी। इस संयोग में दस मन कार्य करते हैं।

What humans are — a sacred conjunction (pavitra-saṃyogaḥ) of soul (jīva), nascent spirit (ātman), and body (deha). The unique being that bridges all three domains, operating with ten minds.

दिव्य-पाठशाला | School of Divinity (divya-pāṭhaśālā)

Sanskrit: divya-pāṭhaśālā / दिव्य-पाठशाला

पृथ्वी — आत्माओं की पाठशाला, जहाँ कर्म-पाठ्यक्रम के माध्यम से विकास होता है। यह रूपक नहीं है — पृथ्वी वास्तव में एक पाठशाला है। आत्माएं छात्र हैं; कर्म पाठ्यक्रम-प्रबंधक है; स्नातकभाव लक्ष्य है।

Earth as the soul’s school — where development happens through the karma-curriculum. This is not metaphor; Earth is literally a school. Souls are students; karma is the curriculum manager; graduation is the goal.

यह नहीं है | NOT: दुख-स्थान (Buddhist suffering-realm to escape), Gnostic पतित-जगत, या ईश्वर की परीक्षा-भूमि।

नियम | The Laws

कर्म | Karma (karma-niyamaḥ)

Sanskrit: karma-niyamaḥ / कर्म-नियमः

आत्मा का व्यक्तिगत पाठ्यक्रम-प्रबंधक — वह बुद्धिमान प्रणाली जो प्रत्येक आत्मा को उसके विकास के लिए ठीक वही अनुभव प्रदान करती है जो उसे चाहिए। कर्म शिक्षक है, न्यायाधीश नहीं।

The soul’s personal curriculum manager — the intelligent system that arranges exactly the experiences each soul needs for its development. Karma is teacher, not judge.

कोई “सकारात्मक” या “नकारात्मक” कर्म नहीं है — जैसे कॉलेज में सभी विषय आवश्यक हैं, आनंददायक भी और कठिन भी। सभी कर्म अच्छे हैं क्योंकि सभी का उद्देश्य स्नातकभाव है।

There is no “positive” or “negative” karma — like college, all courses are required, enjoyable and difficult alike. All karma is good because all of it aims at graduation.

यह नहीं है | NOT: पुरस्कार और दंड की प्रणाली; “जैसा करोगे वैसा भरोगे”; पिछले जन्मों का ऋण; ब्रह्मांडीय न्याय-तराज़ू।

धर्म | Dharma (svadharmaḥ)

Sanskrit: svadharmaḥ / स्वधर्मः

प्रत्येक आत्मा का अपना अनूठा नैतिक मार्ग — अनेक जन्मों के अनुभव और ज्ञान से स्वयं द्वारा निर्मित, गहन आंतरिक नैतिक दिशासूचक। यह बाहर से थोपा नहीं जाता — भीतर से उभरता है।

Each soul’s unique moral path — self-crafted through many lifetimes of experience and wisdom. A deep internal ethical compass. Not imposed from outside — it emerges from within.

धर्म गतिशील है: जो एक अवस्था में धर्मिक है, वह दूसरी में नहीं भी हो सकता। जो एक व्यक्ति के लिए धर्मिक है, वह दूसरे के लिए नहीं भी हो सकता।

Dharma is dynamic: what is right action at one stage may not be at another. What is right for one person may not be for another.

“ज्ञान ज्ञान नहीं यदि आप उसे जीते नहीं।” “Wisdom is not wisdom if you don’t live it.”

यह नहीं है | NOT: वर्ण-धर्म (caste-duty), धर्म = religion, सामाजिक कर्तव्य, बाहरी नैतिक नियम, Buddhist dhamma (doctrine)।

माया | Maya (māyā-niyamaḥ)

Sanskrit: māyā-niyamaḥ / माया-नियमः

एक ब्रह्मांडीय नियम — वह सुरक्षात्मक संज्ञानात्मक फ़िल्टर जो यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि हम अपने विकास के प्रत्येक चरण में केवल वही प्राप्त करें जो हम संभाल सकते हैं। माया हमें धोखा नहीं देती — यह हमें बचाती है। यह दिव्य माता-पिता का उपहार है।

A cosmic Law — the protective cognitive filter ensuring we receive only what we can handle at each stage of development. Maya does not deceive us — it protects us. It is a gift of the Divine Parents.

यह नहीं है | NOT: Advaitic “illusion” — वह दृष्टिकोण कि संसार मिथ्या है। MahaMarga में संसार वास्तविक और प्रयोजनपूर्ण है, बस फ़िल्टर्ड।

भ्रांति से भेद | Distinguished from bhrānti: माया ब्रह्मांडीय नियम है (जो कॉसमॉस करता है); भ्रांति व्यक्तिगत perceptual error है (जो व्यक्ति करता है)।

स्वतंत्र इच्छा | Free Will

कर्म-पाठ्यक्रम की संरचना के भीतर पूर्ण चुनाव। पाठ्यक्रम व्यवस्थित है — किंतु आपकी प्रतिक्रिया के चुनाव आपके सीखने की गति और गुणवत्ता निर्धारित करते हैं।

Complete freedom to choose how to respond within the karmic curriculum structure. The curriculum is arranged — but your response choices determine the pace and quality of your learning.

“आत्माएं अपना जन्म नहीं चुनतीं — कर्म निर्णय करता है।” (New Age doctrine directly contradicted.)

आत्मा और आत्मन | Soul and Spirit

(ये दो पद हिंदी में प्रायः एक-दूसरे के स्थान पर उपयोग होते हैं — MahaMarga में इन्हें सदा भिन्न रखा जाता है।) (These two terms are often used interchangeably in Hindi — in MahaMarga they are always kept distinct.)

आत्मा (जीव) | Soul (jīva)

Sanskrit: jīva / जीवः

मानव संकर-प्राणी का मर्त्य आत्मिक अंश — कैटरपिलर। आत्मा जन्म लेती है, जीती है, सीखती है; उसके परिश्रम से आत्मन प्रकट होता है। आत्मा का जीवनकाल लगभग एक हज़ार वर्ष है (पृथ्वी-काल में)।

The mortal soul-element of the hybrid human — the caterpillar. The soul incarnates, lives, learns; through its work the spirit emerges. The soul’s lifespan is approximately a thousand Earth years.

तीन आत्मा-मन: मूलाधार (जनजातीय जीवन-शक्ति), स्वाधिष्ठान (व्यक्तिगत पहचान), मणिपुर (व्यक्तिगत शक्ति)।

Three soul-minds: Mūlādhāra (tribal life-force), Svādhiṣṭhāna (individual identity), Maṇipūra (personal power).

आत्मन | Spirit (ātman)

Sanskrit: ātman / आत्मन्

मानव संकर-प्राणी का अमर आत्मिक अंश — तितली। आत्मा के परिश्रम से प्रकट होता है; आत्मा में रूपांतरित नहीं होता — दोनों सदा भिन्न रहते हैं। स्नातकभाव के बाद आत्मन सुखावती में प्रवेश करता है।

The immortal spirit-element of the hybrid human — the butterfly. It emerges through the soul’s work; it does not transform from the soul — both remain always distinct. After graduation (snātakabhāvaḥ), the ātman enters Sukhāvatī.

चार आत्मन-मन: अनाहत (प्रेम-द्वार), विशुद्धि (सत्य-प्रक्रिया), आज्ञा (अंतर्ज्ञान), सहस्रार (दिव्य संयोग)।

Four spirit-minds: Anāhata (gateway of love), Viśuddhi (truth-processing), Ājñā (intuition), Sahasrāra (divine conjunction).

यह नहीं है | NOT: Advaitic ātman = brahman। MahaMarga में आत्मन कभी परम सत्य में विलीन नहीं होता — वह सुखावती में एक भिन्न, अमर प्राणी बनता है।

आध्यात्मिक संभावना | Spiritual Potential (ādhyātmika-sambhāvanā)

Sanskrit: ādhyātmika-sambhāvanā / आध्यात्मिक-सम्भावना

मानव संकर में अंतर्निहित आत्मन-बनने की क्षमता — एक अवास्तविक संभावना जो परिश्रम, शिक्षा, और विकास के माध्यम से प्रकट होती है। आत्मा पहले से दिव्य नहीं है जिसे “याद” करना हो — वह एक संभावना की ओर विकसित हो रही है।

The capacity inherent in the hybrid human to develop toward spirit-being status — an unrealised possibility that emerges through effort, education, and development. The soul is not already-divine waiting to “remember” — it is developing toward a potential.

यह नहीं है | NOT: दिव्य स्वभाव (divine nature already possessed), परमात्मा का अंश (fragment of Supreme Self)।

अहंकार | Ego (ahaṅkāra)

Sanskrit: ahaṅkāra / अहङ्कार

आत्मा का व्यक्तिकारी कार्य — “मैं-निर्माता”। MahaMarga में यह सकारात्मक कार्य है: बिना अहंकार के कोई छात्र नहीं, कोई पाठ्यक्रम नहीं, कोई स्नातक नहीं। अहंकार पावनीकरण (sanctification) के लिए कच्चा माल है — इसे दबाना या नष्ट करना नहीं है।

The soul’s individuating function — the “I-maker.” In MahaMarga this is a positive function: without the ego there is no student, no curriculum, no graduation. The ego is raw material for sanctification — not to be suppressed or destroyed.

अभिमान/घमंड के लिए: गर्व (arrogance) — अहंकार नहीं। ये दो भिन्न पद हैं। For arrogance: garva — not ahaṅkāra. These are two distinct terms.

यह नहीं है | NOT: Buddhist/Vedantic false-self जिसे transcend करना है।

पावनीकरण | Sanctification (pāvanīkaraṇam)

Sanskrit: pāvanīkaraṇam / पावनीकरणम्

वह रूपांतरण-प्रक्रिया जिसके द्वारा आत्मा का कच्चा माल — अहंकार सहित — परिष्कृत और स्नातकभाव के लिए उपयुक्त बनाया जाता है। बुरी चीज़ को हटाना नहीं; कच्चे को उसके उद्देश्य के लिए रूपांतरित करना।

The transformation process by which the soul’s raw material — including the ego — is refined and made fit for graduation. Not removing something bad; transforming something raw toward its ultimate purpose.

यह नहीं है | NOT: निरोध (Yoga-style suppression)।

मार्गदर्शन | Guidance

दिव्य तारा | Divine Tara (divya-tārā / sva-tārā)

Sanskrit: divya-tārā / sva-tārā / दिव्य-तारा / स्व-तारा

सुखावती से नियुक्त एक स्नातक आत्मिक प्राणी — जो किसी विशेष आत्मा की पूरी विकास-यात्रा में उसके साथ रहने के लिए नियुक्त है। “तारा” का अर्थ है “जो हमें एक तट से दूसरे तट तक ले जाता है।” यह एक वास्तविक व्यक्तिगत प्राणी है — अमूर्त देवता नहीं, आंतरिक प्रज्ञा का प्रतीक नहीं।

A graduated spirit-being from Sukhāvatī assigned to accompany a specific soul throughout its developmental journey. “Tara” means “they who ferry us from one shore to the next.” A real individual being — not an abstract deity, not a symbol of inner wisdom.

Buddhist Tara से अंतर | Distinguished from Buddhist Tara: Buddhist Tara एक ध्यान-archetype है; MahaMarga की दिव्य तारा एक वास्तविक नियुक्त प्राणी है जिसका एक विशिष्ट संबंध है।

सुखावती | Sukhāvatī

Sanskrit: sukhāvatī / सुखावती

अमिताभ और पाण्डरज्ञानी द्वारा शासित आत्मिक स्वर्ग — स्नातक मानव आत्मनों का गंतव्य। अनेक आत्मिक स्वर्गों में से एक — सार्वभौमिक स्वर्ग नहीं। यहाँ स्नातक प्राणी सक्रिय, उद्देश्यपूर्ण अमर जीवन जीते हैं।

The spirit-heaven governed by Amitābha and Pāṇḍarajñānī — the destination of graduated human ātmans. One spiritual realm among many — not universal heaven. Here graduated beings live active, purposeful immortal lives.

यह नहीं है | NOT: परम सत्य (Absolute), theWAY, जीव-मध्य-लोक (Psychomesion/Puruṣṭhāna — जो आत्माओं का transit-waystation है)।

जीव-मध्य-लोक | Psychomesion (jīva-madhya-lokaḥ)

Sanskrit: jīva-madhya-lokaḥ / जीव-मध्य-लोकः

भौतिक-क्षेत्र और आत्मन-ऊर्जा-क्षेत्र के बीच का मध्यवर्ती जीव-क्षेत्र — जहाँ आत्माएं जन्मों के बीच transit करती हैं। पुरुष्ठान इसके भीतर आत्मा का विश्राम-स्थान है।

The intermediate soul-realm between the Material Domain and the Spirit Energy Domain — where souls transit between incarnations. Puruṣṭhāna is the soul’s waystation within it.

सुखावती नहीं | NOT Sukhāvatī — ये दो भिन्न क्षेत्र हैं।

साधना | Practice

विकास | Development (vikāsaḥ)

Sanskrit: vikāsaḥ / विकासः

सक्रिय, श्रम-साध्य आत्मिक प्रगति — वह प्रक्रिया जिसके द्वारा आत्मा अपना पाठ्यक्रम पूरा करती है। यह “जागरण” नहीं है (जो निष्क्रिय प्रकाशन है) — यह परिश्रम, चुनाव, और कर्म-पाठ्यक्रम के माध्यम से सक्रिय विकास है।

Active, effortful spiritual progress — the process by which the soul completes its curriculum. This is not “awakening” (passive revelation) — it is active development through effort, choice, and the karma-curriculum.

यह नहीं है | NOT: जागरण, जागृति, प्रबोध, साक्षात्कार। महामार्गी विकास किया जाता है, मिलता नहीं।

दस मन | Ten Minds (daśa-manāṃsi)

Sanskrit: daśa-manāṃsi / दश-मनांसि

संकर मानव के दस भिन्न मन-केंद्र — प्रत्येक की अपनी बुद्धि, चरित्र, और विकास-पथ:

• तीन शरीर-मन: मस्तिष्क-मन, अंग-मन, सूक्ष्मजीव-मन
• तीन आत्मा-मन: मूलाधार, स्वाधिष्ठान, मणिपुर
• चार आत्मन-मन: अनाहत, विशुद्धि, आज्ञा, सहस्रार

Ten distinct mind-centres of the hybrid human — each with its own intelligence, character, and developmental trajectory.

यह नहीं है | NOT: केवल chakras “खोलने” या “संतुलित” करने के ऊर्जा-केंद्र। दस मन वास्तविक अनुभूति और बोध के केंद्र हैं।

संयोग | Conjunction (saṃyogaḥ)

Sanskrit: saṃyogaḥ / संयोगः

भिन्न प्राणियों का वह मिलन जो उनकी भिन्नता को बनाए रखता है। आत्मा और आत्मन संयोग में हैं — जुड़े हैं किंतु एक नहीं। महामार्गी और theWAY का संयोग है — संबंध है, विलय नहीं।

The joining of distinct beings that preserves their distinctness. Soul and spirit are in conjunction — connected but never identical. The mahāmārgī and theWAY are in conjunction — relationship, not merger.

यह नहीं है | NOT: एकता (oneness/merger)। “संयोग” कहता है “ये दोनों सच में जुड़े हैं”; “एकता” कहती है “ये दोनों वास्तव में एक हैं।” MahaMarga पहला सिखाता है, दूसरा नहीं।

उद्भू-कान्ति | Authenticity as Beauty (udbhu-kāntiḥ)

Sanskrit: udbhu-kāntiḥ / उद्भु-कान्तिः

वह सौंदर्य जो तब उभरता है जब कोई प्राणी वास्तव में अपना होता है। प्रदर्शन-सौंदर्य नहीं — प्रामाणिक अस्तित्व की दीप्ति। परम सौंदर्य प्रामाणिकता और चरित्र है।

The beauty that arises when a being is genuinely itself. Not performed beauty but the radiance of authentic existence. Ultimate beauty is authenticity and character.

क्रेस्टोटेस | Chrestotes (kresṭoṭes)

Sanskrit: kresṭoṭes / क्रेस्टोटेस (Greek; transliterate — translate नहीं करें)

वह मौलिक MahaMarga सिद्धांत जो करुणा और प्रेम से आगे जाकर ठोस कार्य और समर्थन में प्रकट होता है। ज्ञान की परिणति — सेवा में।

The fundamental MahaMarga principle that surpasses compassion and love by translating into tangible action and support. The pinnacle of wisdom — expressed as service.

From Greek: “useful kindness” or “practical goodness.”

विस्मय | Awe (vismayaḥ)

Sanskrit: vismayaḥ / विस्मयः

एक cultivated soul quality — वास्तविकता की विशालता, रहस्य, और सौंदर्य के सामने खुला, प्रसन्न आश्चर्य। भय नहीं — “मुस्कुराते हुए विस्मय।” सबसे साधारण अनुभव भी विस्मय के योग्य है क्योंकि theWAY उसमें उपस्थित है।

A cultivated soul quality — open, delighted wonder before the vastness, mystery, and beauty of reality. Not fearful awe — “smiling wonder.” Even the simplest experience deserves it because theWAY is present in it.

हर्ष | Joy (harṣaḥ)

Sanskrit: harṣaḥ / हर्षः

एक cultivated soul quality — वह सक्रिय, उभरता आनंद जो प्रामाणिक जीवन के साथ आता है। केवल मनोदशा नहीं — एक जानबूझकर अभिविन्यास जो न केवल साधक को बल्कि उसके आसपास के वातावरण को भी उपचारित करता है।
